Step 1: Choose Your Customizations
Start by selecting your desired holster color, custom patterns, accessories, and hardware. We offer a wide range of options to make your holster stand out while providing reliable performance.
Step 2: Choose Your Mounting System
Once you've made your aesthetic choices, you'll select how you want your holster mounted to your belt. At Lindahl Holsters, our universal mounting pattern is compatible with Safariland attachments, G-Code and Bladetech products for our OWB holsters, ensuring compatibility with a variety of mounting systems and quick, secure attachment to your duty or tactical belt.
Hi Ride Mount
The Hi Ride option raises your holster approximately 1.5” higher than the mid-ride option. Commonly referred to as the “detective carry” position, this mounting option places the butt of the pistol just above the belt line, making it a great choice for professionals who spend long hours sitting or working in a vehicle. The traditional butt-forward cant is a popular version of this mount for easy accessibility and comfortable positioning.
Lindahl Holsters Mid Ride TRL (Tactical, Duty, Patrol)
The Mid Ride TRL is our most popular option, perfectly suited for duty holsters, patrol holsters, and all-around use. This configuration places the pistol butt even with the belt line, providing a balanced, comfortable fit. Ideal for professionals who need easy access to their firearm while sitting, driving, or performing office tasks, the mid-ride option is the optimal choice for daily carry and general tactical needs.
Low Ride Mount
The Low Ride UBL is 1.5” lower than the mid-ride option, making it the preferred choice for tactical holsters. Tactical teams and professionals who wear body armor often prefer this option, as the lower position allows for better clearance and faster draw speed. The pistol butt sits just below the belt line, providing a quick and natural grip.
For those seeking customization, the Low Ride CUBL (Cantable Universal Belt Loop) allows users to adjust the holster angle for a personalized cant position. While the low-ride option is optimal for tactical use, it’s not as comfortable for extended sitting in cars or office chairs due to its low belt positioning. However, women often favor this option as it can be worn lower on the hip for improved accessibility and comfort.
Tactical Plate for Enhanced Stability
For increased stability, Lindahl Holsters offers the Safariland Tac Plate. This add-on part for Safariland® holsters replaces the standard vertical leg strap, raising the height of the holster on the thigh for better stability and comfort during movement. The DFA system accepts belts between 2" and 2.25" wide and features mounting holes for tactical accessories. The leg shroud includes a silicone strap to ensure non-slip traction, providing maximum comfort and security in dynamic environments.
