His description started with, “the holster is made of two identical leather pieces joined in overlying relationship.” Since that original design the pancake has evolved into a finely tuned weapons retention system. We feel the AVENGER pancake holster provide the perfect solution for concealed carry and combat readiness. Features: Materials, Hermann Oak Leather, St Louis Mo. This is the oldest tannery in America and produces the finest Vegetable tanned leather in the world. Design, the CakeZero is designed as a neutral cant strongside holster allowing you to get the gun into the fight as quickly as possible. Concealability: The pancake holster slams the rig into your waist allowing it to literally disappear under your shirt while keeping the grip free for lightning-fast presentation. Designed for wear in the 2:30 to the 4:00 position. Throat reinforcement, we place another piece of leather around the throat in order to ensure the holster does not collapse if the fight takes you to the ground. One of the basic tenants of solid holster design is the ability to reholster with one hand, without looking down.
